Global Water Resources reports 24.8% revenue growth in Q2 2026

Global Water Resources reported a 24.8% year-over-year increase in total revenue for the second quarter of 2026, reaching $17.8 million. This growth was driven by $2.1 million in unregulated revenue from infrastructure coordination and financing agreements (ICFA), the acquisition of seven water systems from Tucson Water in July 2025, organic connection growth, and higher consumption and rates.

Regulated revenue rose 9.9% to $15.7 million. Net income increased to $2.7 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, up from $1.6 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA grew 14.6% to $7.9 million. The company’s active service connections increased 5.8% year-over-year to 69,429, while water consumption rose 6.1%.

Operational updates include a $6.6 million investment in infrastructure and the extension of a $20 million revolving credit facility to May 2028. The company has also filed a settlement proposing a $2.3 million annual revenue requirement increase for GW-Santa Cruz and has withdrawn and refiled the GW-Palo Verde rate case.
