Globalia appoints veteran lawyer Ramiro Campos as chief executive

Spanish tourism group Globalia has reshuffled its top management, naming long‑time legal director Ramiro Campos as the new chief executive officer. Campos will share overall leadership of the Air Europa holding with president Juan José Hidalgo, while Richard Clark remains CEO of Air Europa.

The board changes also bring in Alejandro Ortiz Vaamondo, Álvaro Badiola Guerra and Javier Beltrán Yturriaga (as non‑director secretary). At Air Europa, board members Juan Moral de la Rosa and Félix Ruiz Hernández – the founder of Tuenti and current head of Jobandtalent – were added.

The announcement coincided with Globalia’s 2025 results: consolidated revenue of €3.519 billion, a 7.6 % increase over 2024, net profit of €118 million (up 21 %), EBITDA of €256 million, and a reduction of long‑term debt from €605 million to €370 million after early repayment of state aid.
