Globe achieves highest 2026 network performance in August

Globe recorded its strongest network performance of 2026 in August, according to the latest Telco Report Card from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). The company achieved an overall score of 81.5, marking a 4.4-point increase since January.

Average download speeds reached a 2026 high of 45.9 Mbps, representing a 5.1% increase from July and a 26% improvement compared to the 36.5 Mbps recorded at the start of the year. Network quality also improved to 71.2, while latency remained stable at 20 milliseconds.

These improvements follow significant capital expenditures by Globe, which totaled ₱26.3 billion in the first half of 2026, with 91% of those funds directed toward data-related initiatives. The company continues to collaborate with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to enhance connectivity and service reliability across the Philippines.
