Globe celebrates 917 GDay 2026 with community events and volunteerism

Globe is celebrating 917 GDay 2026 through a series of community-focused initiatives and pop-up events across the Philippines. The company is launching pop-up celebrations from September to October in various locations, including Quezon City, Cebu, Bacolod, and Angeles City, to engage customers through interactive activities and rewards.

As part of its 917 Globe of Good program, more than 800 employee volunteers participated in community service projects focused on education, hunger alleviation, disaster relief, and digital inclusion. Employees pledged over ₱2 million to support these efforts. Notable activities included the Senior Digizen program, which trained over 600 senior citizens in Makati and Taguig on digital safety and technology use.

Volunteers also collaborated with organizations such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to repack food supplies, worked with SOS Rescue Kitchen to serve meals, and partnered with the Ayala Foundation to support feeding and reading programs for schoolchildren.
