Globex and Torex restart drilling at gold projects in Canada and Mexico

Globex Mining Enterprises reported a Phase 1 drill program at its Berrian Mine royalty in the Chibougamau district of Quebec that intersected historic mineralisation and returned zinc‑equivalent grades up to 5.08 ZnEq (1.19 g/t AuEq) over 98.5 m, including higher‑grade zones in drill holes TOM‑25‑014 and TOM‑25‑015. Phase 2 drilling is extending additional holes (TOM‑25‑009 to TOM‑25‑013) to test deeper zones, with core samples logged, cut and sent for assay and a borehole electromagnetic survey planned.

Torex Gold Resources announced the restart of drilling at its Los Reyes gold‑silver project in Sinaloa, Mexico. The 2026 program will drill about 20,000 m, targeting three primary mineralised trends and supporting metallurgical, geotechnical and engineering work for a pre‑feasibility study. The company expects to invest roughly $18 million, mainly on exploration, and aims to release a preliminary economic assessment in July.
