Globinvest launches BET-XT ETF on Bucharest Stock Exchange

SAI Globinvest has launched the Globinvest BET-XT ETF (ticker: GIBXTETF) on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). This new financial instrument aims to fully replicate the structure of the BET-XT index, which tracks the performance of the 30 most liquid and traded Romanian companies on the BVB Regulated Market.

The BET-XT index, launched in 2008, represents approximately 438 billion lei in market capitalization, accounting for roughly 60% of the total capitalization of the exchange's main segment. The index has seen significant growth, appreciating 46% since the beginning of the year and recording a 340% increase since its inception. In the first half of 2026, the index achieved its best performance for a first six-month period.

TradeVille will serve as the Market Maker for the issuer. With this addition, the Bucharest Stock Exchange now hosts a total of 10 tradable ETFs.
