Globo announces new telenovela projects for 7 PM slot

Globo has confirmed upcoming programming for its 7 PM telenovela slot. Novelist Daniel Ortiz is set to return to this time slot with “Elas Que Lutem”. The plot features a trio of protagonists who survive an airplane crash, leading to a narrative set in a forest environment where they strengthen their bonds and meet new characters.

Additionally, the network has approved Thelma Guedes’ first solo project, provisionally titled “Existe Amor em São Paulo”. Expected to premiere in October 2025, the story will focus on human relationships and various romantic encounters set against the backdrop of São Paulo. This marks a significant career milestone for Guedes, who has previously worked in successful writing partnerships.
