Globo dismisses journalist Joanna de Assis from SporTV

Globo has dismissed journalist Joanna de Assis from SporTV after 20 years with the company. The decision comes as part of an internal reorganization of the broadcaster's sports team.

De Assis, who joined the network in 2006, held various roles including reporting on state and national football championships and participating in programs such as Bem, Amigos! and Redação SporTV. Most recently, she served as an anchor for the program Tá On and contributed to Globo Esporte São Paulo. The dismissal is expected to be part of a series of upcoming changes within the SporTV division.
