Globo secures exclusive Rio Open broadcasting rights until 2031

Globo has renewed its exclusive multiplatform broadcasting rights for the Rio Open, the only ATP 500 tournament in South America, covering the period from 2027 to 2031.

Under the new agreement, Sportv will provide full coverage of all matches on the center court throughout the seven days of competition. Matches from Court 1 will be available via Globoplay. For free-to-air viewing, Ge TV will broadcast at least one match per day during the first round, as well as the semifinals and the final.

The partnership, which has included Sportv since the tournament's inception in 2014, also expands Globo's presence at the event through brand visibility on the courts and an exclusive lounge for activations. Additionally, Globo's talent will produce special social media content focusing on the tournament atmosphere and guests.
