Globo spotlights actress Belize Pombal and revives classic soap Paraíso

Brazilian network Globo is positioning actress Belize Pombal as a future leading talent, with internal reports highlighting her versatility across recent roles and suggesting heightened contract interest from the channel.

Separately, Globo announced that the 1982 telenovela Paraíso, written by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, will be added to the Globoplay catalog as part of its Project Resgate initiative to restore classic Brazilian dramas. The series is slated for a July release, alongside future launches of other historic titles such as Agora É que São Elas, Ciranda de Pedra and Sétimo Sentido.
