Globoplay launches ‘Herança em Jogo’ reality series

Globoplay has launched its new original reality series, ‘Herança em Jogo’, which premiered with three episodes, including an initial chapter available to non-subscribers. The program is a Brazilian adaptation of the international format ‘The Inheritance’ by All3Media.

The competition features 13 participants vying for a prize of up to R$ 1 million in gold bars. The narrative centers on the inheritance of an eccentric millionaire, ‘A Falecida’, portrayed by actress Susana Vieira.

Presenter Rodrigo Faro takes on a dual role, acting as ‘O Testamenteiro’ (The Executor). In this capacity, he portrays a rigid, sarcastic, and ironic character responsible for enforcing the rules of the will and managing the participants' strategic dilemmas. The production, handled by Formata, aims to blend reality competition with dramatic elements, focusing on human behavior, alliances, and manipulation.
