Globos de Ouro awards celebrate 30 years of Portuguese culture
The 30th edition of the Globos de Ouro awards ceremony, held at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, featured several emotional and highly discussed moments.
Nuno Markl was honored as the Personality of the Year in Entertainment. His speech was particularly moving as he discussed his recovery following two strokes suffered in late 2025. Markl expressed deep gratitude to healthcare professionals and his family, while candidly reflecting on the challenges of life after his medical emergencies.
Comedian Bruno Nogueira also drew significant attention during his acceptance of the Best Humor Project award for the series ‘Ruído’.
