Globus Baumarkt opens new store in Bielefeld

Globus Baumarkt has opened its 91st location in the Bielefeld-Brackwede district of Germany. Located at the former Hellweg site on Südring 100, this marks the company’s eighth store in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The facility underwent six months of renovation under store manager Alexander Ulbrich. The new site features a modern, barrier-free layout with over 12,000 square meters of sales space, including a large garden center. The store employs more than 80 staff members and offers a selection of over 60,000 items ranging from construction materials and tools to garden supplies and home decor.

Improvements to the site include a new entrance and redesigned exterior areas, featuring approximately 300 parking spaces. Services provided at the location include a cutting center for wood and plates, trailer rentals, and delivery services.
