Glocal DOC Scuole attracts over 1,000 students in Varese
The fourth edition of the Glocal DOC documentary festival in Varese has seen over 1,000 students book screenings through its dedicated 'Glocal DOC Scuole' initiative. Participating institutions include Liceo Manzoni, Istituto Einaudi, the Provincial Training Agency of Varese, Liceo Curie of Tradate, ENAIP Varese, and ITS RED.
High demand for the documentary 'The Madmen Coach' by Carlo Liberatore, which focuses on a Senegalese football team composed of individuals with mental health challenges, required expanding school screenings to two halls at the MIV – Multisala Impero Varese. Both halls were sold out for the morning of November 11, though evening reservations remain open for the session on November 10 featuring the director.
