Gloria Maris Côte d’Opale achieves first French ASC certification for seabass and seabream

Gloria Maris Côte d’Opale has become the first seabass and seabream farm in France to receive certification from the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). The certification confirms the farm meets strict standards regarding environmental responsibility, animal welfare, social accountability, and the responsible use of resources and feed.

Located in the Hauts-de-France region, the farm has been operating for over 40 years. This milestone is expected to increase the availability of farmed seafood in France that adheres to high environmental and social requirements, positioning the facility as a leader in the French aquaculture sector.
