Gloria Musical debuts at Milan's Teatro Arcimboldi

The musical “Gloria – Il Musical” has premiered at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, celebrating the fifty-year career of Italian singer Umberto Tozzi. Rather than a traditional biography, the production features an original plot woven around Tozzi’s iconic hits, including “Gloria,” “Ti Amo,” and “Stella Stai.”

The story follows Gloria, a determined young woman who pursues a singing career despite her father's wishes for her to join the family business. The narrative tracks her journey through personal struggles and musical competitions involving major record labels.

The production stars Valeria Mancini as Gloria and Nick Casciaro as Marco. Critics have noted the strong vocal performances of Mancini and Gloria Miele, who plays the antagonist Eva, highlighting the musical's ability to engage audiences through its energetic repertoire.
