Gloryhammer announces new album and single

Power metal band Gloryhammer has announced the release of their fifth studio album, ‘Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath’, scheduled for October 16, 2026, via Napalm Records. The album serves as a direct sequel to their 2015 release, ‘Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards’, continuing the saga of the McFife dynasty and protagonist Angus McFife V.

To coincide with the announcement, the band released a new single titled ‘Die with a Sword in My Hand’, accompanied by an animated music video styled after a television series. The album features eleven tracks and incorporates various musical styles, including classic power metal, thrash, synth-rock, and orchestral elements. The project was produced by the band and mixed by Jacob Hansen.

A European tour is planned for the autumn of 2026 to support the album release, featuring support from Majestica and Arion.
