Gloryhammer releases new single ‘Warriors of Auchtermuchty’

Power metal band Gloryhammer has released a new single titled ‘Warriors of Auchtermuchty’. The track is part of the buildup to their fifth studio album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, which is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, via Napalm Records.

The new album serves as a sequel to 2015’s Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards and continues the saga of the McFife dynasty, following the character Angus McFife V. The upcoming album features eleven tracks and was produced by the band with mixing by Jacob Hansen. The band noted that they have reportedly set a record for the most frequent use of the word ‘Auchtermuchty’ within a single song.
