Glovo Launches Second Edition of Tech Catalyst Romania Startup Competition

Glovo announced the second edition of its Tech Catalyst competition in Romania, aimed at scaling‑stage startups developing urban solutions. The program, part of Glovo’s global Power Up initiative, invites Romanian companies operating in logistics, artificial intelligence, fintech, foodtech or sustainability, with teams of 5‑50 employees and revenues at the Late‑Seed or Series A stage.

Applicants can submit proposals until 4 September 2026. The winning startup will receive a €5,000 cash prize and two team members will attend Glovo’s StartUp Campus 2026 in Barcelona from 6‑8 October, gaining mentorship, master‑classes and direct access to Glovo’s leadership. Bogdan Meica, General Manager of Glovo Romania, said the competition seeks to accelerate the growth of mature Romanian founders and support the digital transformation of cities.
