Glow Festival brings international gospel and Finnish artists to Tampere

The third annual Glow Festival, Finland’s largest Christian pop-rock music festival, took place on August 29, 2026, at the Nokia Arena in Tampere. The event featured a blend of international gospel stars and prominent Finnish artists.

A major highlight was a special production inspired by New York gospel roots, conducted by Jukka ‘Juke’ Palonen. This segment featured American gospel musician Jerard Woods as a soloist. The festival’s artistic director, Lasse Sakara, noted the warm reception from the audience and the high energy generated throughout the event.

Finnish performers included Mirella, Diandra, Jepa Lambert, Pekka Ruuska, Jukka Leppilampi, and Pekka Simojoki, among others. The festival also celebrated the 60th anniversary of the group Pro Fide and featured performances by bands such as Heaven Up and Idän ihmeet.
