Glória neighborhood offers cultural tours and new gastronomy in Rio de Janeiro
The Glória neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro is hosting various cultural and gastronomic activities. On September 27, Teatro TotalEnergies – Sala Adolpho Bloch will offer free guided tours. The program, led by Lenita Magalhães, explores the history and architecture of the building designed by Oscar Niemeyer, covering its evolution from Adolpho Bloch’s personal museum concept to its current role as a cultural landmark.
In the local gastronomic circuit at Praça Paris, a new stall called Curryoca has launched. Operated by chef Bruno de Figueiredo, who previously worked at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Oro, the stall specializes in Thai curry. The menu aims to introduce new flavors to the traditional street fair by combining Asian techniques with local ingredients like tahiti lime and lemongrass.
