GLS logistics workers announce strikes in Umbria and Rieti

Logistics workers at GLS branches in Umbria and Rieti have announced two days of strikes, scheduled for August 24 and August 26. The mobilization, organized by Filt Cgil Umbria and Uiltrasporti Umbria, targets several locations including Città di Castello, Perugia, Foligno, and Terni.

Union representatives cite long-standing unresolved issues, including unpaid wages and overtime, poor vehicle conditions, and inadequate facility security. The unions are demanding direct negotiations with GLS Italy, stating that previous commitments made by local service providers have been systematically unfulfilled. They are seeking immediate intervention to ensure the full respect of workers' rights.
