Gluware and NetBox Labs launch AI agent frameworks for network automation
Gluware and NetBox Labs have introduced new frameworks designed to bring AI agents into production network and infrastructure operations by addressing the critical need for trust and guardrails.
Gluware’s Agentic Framework utilizes a ‘Proof of Agentic Trust’ architecture. This system combines governance, technical validation, and convergence to ensure that AI agents propose and execute network changes that adhere to intended designs and operating rules. The framework allows agents to assist with automation, assess network exposure, and eventually execute validated actions through a controlled workflow.
NetBox Labs has announced the general availability of its Platform MCP Server on its SaaS edition. This allows AI agents from clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to interact with the NetBox system of record. By using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), agents can read and update infrastructure data—including IP address management and cable tracing—under established user permissions. NetBox Labs also introduced three pre-built agents in public preview: the Data Quality Steward, Change Review Agent, and Lifecycle & Version Compliance Agent.
