GM Klang launches Port Seni cultural hub in Selangor
GM Klang has launched Port Seni, a new creative and cultural hub in Klang, Selangor, designed to showcase local art, crafts, and creative entrepreneurship. Officially opened on 29 August 2026, the destination aims to connect local artisans and artists with broader audiences while highlighting the cultural identity of the region.
The hub features several key components, including a curated Select Shop operated by Api House, a gallery, and the Pulau Ketam Art Corner. The inaugural gallery exhibition, ‘Klang Art Harmony’, displays 61 artworks from 30 local artists. Future additions to the site include a café and various interactive workshops, themed bazaars, and creative demonstrations.
The initiative was supported by Tourism Selangor CEO Chua Yee Ling and represents a strategic evolution for GM Klang as it moves toward a B2B2C business model alongside its existing wholesale operations.
