GM Korea expands service network to 380 centers
GM Korea is strengthening its maintenance and customer service capabilities through a nationwide network of approximately 380 service centers. As of August 2026, the network is distributed across South Korea, with the highest concentrations in the Greater Seoul area (133 locations) and the Yeongnam region (111 locations).
The network is divided into two categories: approximately 90 comprehensive service centers and 290 specialized service centers. Comprehensive centers handle a full range of services, including engine and transmission repairs, electrical systems, steering, brakes, and accident restoration such as welding and painting. Specialized centers focus on routine maintenance, including oil, filters, batteries, tires, and cooling systems.
Notably, about 130 of these locations are equipped for advanced maintenance, specifically targeting large vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs). These centers possess the capability to handle high-voltage systems and battery repairs. To support this infrastructure, GM Korea operates three company-operated service technology centers and one high-tech center to provide standardized training, technical data, and direct assistance for complex vehicle issues.
