Gümüşhane grapevine covers electricity pole

In the Bağlarbaşı neighborhood of Gümüşhane, Turkey, a grapevine has grown to completely cover an electricity pole, making the metal structure appear to be a tree. The dense green leaves and grape clusters have camouflaged the pole so effectively that passersby often mistake it for a fruit tree.

Local neighborhood head Fahri Ölmez noted that the grapevine has been growing in the same location since his childhood. He explained that the vines previously covered a wooden pole in the area, and after the pole was replaced with a metal one, the vines continued to spread and eventually enveloped the new structure. The sight has become a local landmark, drawing interest from residents and visitors alike.
