GMO Cybersecurity launches AI‑powered penetration‑test service in Japan
On July 30, GMO Cybersecurity by Ierae announced the launch of “AI White Hacker Penetration Test,” a service that uses its proprietary AI platform to automatically discover a wide range of vulnerabilities in external servers, core systems and software, then augments the findings with manual analysis by white‑hacker experts. The combined AI‑human approach prioritises high‑risk issues, offers custom signatures for zero‑day threats and provides remediation guidance until patches are available.
The previous day, GMO Aozora Net Bank revealed a partnership with GMO Cybersecurity to market the SaaS offering “GMO Cyber Attack Net de Diagnosis Lite.” Priced from ¥4,280 per month, the service continuously scans and monitors publicly‑exposed assets such as websites and VPN devices, delivering automated vulnerability detection and ongoing monitoring for corporate clients. Both initiatives aim to strengthen Japanese businesses’ defenses against increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.
