Güneşin Doğduğu Yer series to premiere on ATV

The new television series ‘Güneşin Doğduğu Yer’, produced by TİMSB Productions for ATV, is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, September 17. Directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali, the drama features a cast led by Burak Özçivit and Beyza Gümülcine.

The story begins during the fall of the Berlin Wall, where Leyla, a woman of German and Turkish descent, meets Kenan. Their romance, which starts in Berlin, eventually moves to Adana in the 1990s. The plot explores the conflict between Kenan’s responsibilities to his wealthy family and his intense love for Leyla, as well as Leyla’s personal struggles regarding her Turkish heritage and her father’s abandonment.
