Génelard to host reggae tribute festival for Bob Marley

The 5th edition of the Notes d’Été festival is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Génelard. The event will feature a reggae theme in tribute to Bob Marley, held at the Place du Champ de Foire.

The musical program includes an opening performance by Maxxo, a singer-songwriter from Mâcon who blends reggae roots, dancehall, and hip-hop. The evening will culminate with Kingston Calling, a nine-piece tribute band led by singer Kazy, performing classic Bob Marley hits such as ‘No Woman, No Cry’ and ‘One Love’.

The festival aims to combine free concerts with the highlighting of local heritage through specialized light displays designed to enhance the public space after dark.
