GNK Dinamo Zagreb delegation visits Čitluk for humanitarian event
A delegation from GNK Dinamo Zagreb, led by President Zvonimir Boban and honorary president Velimir Zajec, visited the municipality of Čitluk in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The visit included a meeting with local officials to discuss club activities and the construction of the new Maksimir stadium.
During the 'Plava noć' (Blue Night) event held at Hotel Kaktus, approximately 600 fans gathered for a humanitarian evening. A charity raffle raised 19,000 KM, which will be donated to the Sveti Josip Radnik Educational-Rehabilitation Center in Čitluk and the GNK Dinamo 'Nema predaje' Foundation.
Despite the gathering, Boban faced unprecedented booing from a portion of the fans during the event. The dissent was specifically triggered by his comments regarding the architectural and structural plans for the new Maksimir stadium. Boban defended the management's decisions, stating that while the solution might be unexpected, it is the best technical option for the club's future.
In separate sports news, the basketball season has commenced with Dinamo Zagreb securing an 80-78 victory over Zabok in the SuperSport Premier League opener.
