Gönül Kahvecioğlu completes software internship at age 56

Gönül Kahvecioğlu, 56, has completed an internship in back-end software development at Atakum Municipality despite facing significant health challenges, including cancer and vein thrombosis. After enrolling in Ondokuz Mayıs University at age 55 following her daughter's advice, she pursued studies in Information Technology to serve as an inspiration to others facing similar medical struggles.

During her internship, Kahvecioğlu gained practical skills such as cable installation and touch-typing, and she continues to visit the municipality to assist colleagues and reinforce her learning.
