Günther Jauch showcases passion for family winery

German television presenter Günther Jauch, widely known for hosting RTL programs such as ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ and ‘Stern TV’, has been sharing insights into his private passion for viticulture via Instagram.

In 2010, Jauch took over a renowned Riesling winery located in Kanzem on the Saar in Rhineland-Palatinate. The estate has been in family ownership since 1805 and is currently managed by Jauch and his wife, Thea, representing the seventh generation of the family legacy. Although Jauch is not a trained winemaker, describing himself as an ‘eternal apprentice winemaker,’ he actively participates in the estate's operations and uses social media to provide a personal look at the property.
