GO-330 highway duplication causes traffic detours near Catalão

The Agência Goiana de Infraestrutura e Transportes (Goinfra) has implemented a temporary traffic detour on the GO-330 highway between Catalão and Ipameri. The detour affects a section of approximately one kilometer starting from the Goiandira junction toward the bridge over the Rio Cachoeirinha.

This measure is necessary to facilitate the restoration of the old roadway following the completion of the new lane in this segment. During this phase of the duplication project, the affected area will operate as a single lane with two-way traffic. Additionally, Goinfra is working on a new bridge over the Rio Cachoeirinha, which is currently in the girder lifting stage.

The duplication project for the GO-330 is divided into three sub-sections. The current stage begins at the edge of the Catalão urban perimeter and extends to the junction with the GO-305. Authorities advise motorists to plan trips in advance to avoid delays, particularly during high-volume freight periods, and to adhere to speed limits and traffic signage.
