Go Ahead Eagles launch official ticket resale platform as fans boycott away games

From the 2026/27 season, Go Ahead Eagles will operate an official resale service that lets season‑ticket holders offer their allocated seats for home matches at De Adelaarshorst to other supporters. When a ticket is sold, the original holder receives a credit equal to one‑twentieth of the purchase price, which can be used for future match tickets or to extend the next season’s ticket.

Several supporters groups have announced a boycott of the club’s away‑match tickets, objecting to the new system’s changes – including altered priority rules and a requirement for fans to submit a copy of their ID. The groups say the club introduced the measures without consultation and have raised concerns about data handling, storage duration and access. Go Ahead Eagles has not yet responded to the statement.
