GO! Atheneum Herzele receives €5,000 in educational materials

The Person Care department at GO! Atheneum Herzele has received €5,000 worth of didactic materials following its victory in the ‘Licht op LEF!’ program organized by the educational publisher Plantyn.

The prize was awarded in recognition of the teaching team's active participation in webinars, professional meetings, and networking events, as well as their correct answer to a tie-breaking question. According to the school's director, Sandy Maegerman, the funds were required to be spent entirely on educational resources for LEF! lessons.

The new materials are intended to support students in various healthcare and support programs, including Basic Care and Support, Education and Guidance, and Healthcare. These resources aim to provide more practical, hands-on training to better prepare students for professional roles in sectors such as childcare, elderly care, and general healthcare.
