Go Cup youth football tournament to debut in São Paulo in 2027

The 13th edition of the Go Cup, recognized as the world's largest youth football tournament, is scheduled to take place in July 2027. For the first time in its history, the competition will be held in the state of São Paulo, specifically in the city of Tremembé.

Organizers expect this move to the IMM Sports Complex to set a new record for participation. While the 12th edition in Goiás hosted 300 teams and 4,000 athletes, the 2027 event aims to attract 400 teams and more than 5,000 young players. The competition will include age categories ranging from Sub-06 to Sub-13 for boys and Sub-13 to Sub-15 for girls.

Léo Trotta, one of the tournament organizers, stated that moving to São Paulo represents a new chapter for the event, leveraging the infrastructure of the IMM Sports Complex. The facility covers 760,000 square meters and provides 57 natural grass fields, an increase of 17 fields compared to the previous edition.
