Go Dua Bridge traffic congestion following taxi and truck collision
A collision between a taxi and a truck occurred on Go Dua Bridge in Tam Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, on the afternoon of August 24. The taxi struck the rear of a truck traveling in the same direction, causing significant damage to the front of the taxi.
No injuries were reported in the incident. However, the accident caused severe traffic congestion during peak hours, affecting the intersection connecting Ring Road 2, Provincial Road 43, and National Highway 1. The blockage impacted commuters traveling toward the Thu Duc agricultural wholesale market and various industrial zones.
Local police and traffic authorities arrived at the scene to manage traffic flow and clear the vehicles. Traffic in the area has since returned to normal.
