Go for Launch wins $200,000 Bolton Landing at Saratoga

Go for Launch, a two-year-old filly, secured her first stakes victory in the $200,000 Bolton Landing at Saratoga Race Course. The 5 1/2-furlong turf sprint featured the daughter of 2022 U.S. Horse of the Year Flightline and Canada’s 2019 Horse of the Year, Starship Jubilee.

Owned by Blue Heaven Farm and trained by Kevin Attard, the filly shipped from Woodbine to compete. Jockey Pietro Moran, an Eclipse Award-winning apprentice, guided Go for Launch from a third-place position, accelerating in the final furlong to win by 2 1/4 lengths with a time of 1:02.45. The performance earned a 76 Beyer Speed Figure.

The victory was a notable family milestone for the Attard team, as the horse was saddled by trainer Kevin’s son, Joshua Attard.
