Go Türkiye launches new mini-series to promote North Aegean region

The Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) has completed filming for its latest mini-series, ‘Tell Me Troy’. This production is part of the Go Türkiye Mini Series initiative, which has already achieved 10.5 billion impressions and 6.5 billion views globally.

Set in the North Aegean, the series follows film students traveling from Istanbul to explore the history, mythology, and culture of Çanakkale, Balıkesir, and İzmir. The narrative weaves a romantic story inspired by Homeric epics, featuring characters Aras and Bade, played by Halit Özgür Sarı and Özge Yağız respectively.

Filming locations include significant archaeological and natural sites such as Troy, Assos, Mount Ida, Antandros, Cunda, Bergama, and Foça. Produced by Storymagez and directed by Emre Kavuk and Mustafa Uğur Yağcıoğlu, the project aims to showcase the North Aegean’s unique cultural fabric to an international audience.
