Go Young Wook addresses comeback prospects and celebrity attacks

Go Young Wook, a former member of the group Roo’ra, has issued a public statement addressing his prospects for a broadcasting comeback and recent social media activity. In a post on August 25, he acknowledged that a return to television is unlikely without a significant change in public perception. He stated that he accepts his past regrets and described his current life as that of an ordinary citizen.

The statement follows criticism regarding a series of social media posts in which Go targeted several prominent celebrities, including Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Sang Min, Lee Ji Hye, and Park Ha Sun. Critics have characterized these posts as baseless attempts to garner public attention.

Go Young Wook debuted in 1994 and was previously convicted of sexual offenses involving minors between 2010 and 2012. In 2013, the Supreme Court confirmed a prison sentence of two years and six months for his crimes.
