Goa CM Pramod Sawant visits Andhra Pradesh for political dialogue

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Political Leaders’ Dialogue 2026. The event, organized by BJP Yuva Morcha Andhra Pradesh, focused on engaging youth, professionals, and changemakers in discussions regarding governance, public policy, innovation, and nation-building to achieve the vision of a developed India by 2047.

During the visit, Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash noted the potential for increased cooperation between Goa and Andhra Pradesh. Key areas identified for bilateral exchange and partnership include tourism, industrial expansion, skill development, and employment generation. Subhash emphasized that sharing successful policies between the two states could drive investment and job creation, aligning with national development goals.

In addition to the political dialogue, Chief Minister Sawant visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri to offer prayers.
