Goa Shipyard Limited announces recruitment for 31 trainee positions

Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 31 Trainee Project Executive positions on a contractual basis. The vacancies are distributed across several disciplines: 12 for Electrical, 9 for Mechanical, 5 for Electronics, 4 for Naval Architecture, and 1 for Finance.

The online application process began on September 4, with a deadline for submission set for October 3. Interested candidates must complete their registration through the official Goa Shipyard Limited website by 5:00 PM on the closing date.

Eligible candidates must hold a four-year full-time regular BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) from a recognized institution, or be a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or hold a two-year PG diploma/degree in Finance. The maximum age limit is 28 years, calculated as of July 31, 2026, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories. Selection will be based on application scrutiny, a written examination, document verification, and group discussion or interviews. Selected candidates will receive an initial monthly salary of 35,000 rupees, plus additional benefits and allowances.
