Goalkeeper Arnau Tenas set to join Mallorca as pre‑season begins in Marbella
Spanish goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, 25, is completing a move to RCD Mallorca. After ending his contract with FC Barcelona, a brief spell at PSG and a season at Villarreal, he will join Mallorca on a loan with an option to buy, a deal valued at about €2.5 million. The transfer was confirmed as Mallorca intensified its recruitment to secure Tenas for the upcoming La Liga campaign.
The club initiated its pre‑season training in Marbella, Spain, where Tenas arrived with the squad and was noted for his charisma by local media. Mallorca’s president Andy Kohlberg, CEO Alfonso Díaz and sporting director Pablo Ortells used the Marbella Football Center for the team's preparation, allowing players to receive visits from family and friends.
The move is seen as a step for Tenas to obtain regular first‑team minutes and help Mallorca strengthen its goalkeeping department for the new season.
