Goalkeeper Caíque França loses home in fire in Campinas

Brazilian goalkeeper Caíque França, who currently plays for Guarani Futebol Clube, had his house in Campinas destroyed after a fire spread from a neighboring residence. The blaze left the home completely ruined, destroying personal items including his medals, trophies, photos and childhood DVDs. França reported that no one was injured, and his family has since found new accommodation.

The player, a former Corinthians youth product who has also played for Sport, Ponte Preta and Oeste, posted about the incident on social media, thanking God for the lack of injuries while lamenting the loss of sentimental belongings. Guarani expressed solidarity with the goalkeeper and his family, and fans sent messages of support.
