Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur signs for Rangers, eyes trophy challenge
Croatian goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, 26, has joined Scottish club Rangers this summer after two seasons with Hull City. Pandur, who previously played for Fortuna Sittard, Verona and Rijeka, said he has waited his whole career for a move to a club that battles for trophies and expressed excitement about defending the Ibrox Stadium in front of its 52,000 fans.
Reflecting on his time at Hull, Pandur noted the contrast between a season fighting relegation in the Championship and a subsequent promotion to the Premier League, describing the experience as "material for a great film." He also highlighted his role in the Croatian national team at the recent World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and said his next goal is to earn playing minutes for Rangers.
