Goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka signs for Tottenham Hotspur

Slovak international goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka, 37, has joined English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer. He signed a one‑year contract with an option for a second year, moving after his Burnley contract expired. The move was confirmed by transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano and follows a brief medical setback that ended a potential transfer to Everton.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi described Dúbravka as an experienced player who will add balance, leadership and competition to the squad. He will serve as a backup to first‑choice keeper Antonín Kinský, competing also with Guglielmo Vicario and Brandon Austin for playing time. Dúbravka previously played for Newcastle United, Manchester United and Burnley, and said he is excited for the new challenge.
