Goalkeepers Vozinha and Santiago Mele face scrutiny after international errors

Goalkeepers Vozinha and Santiago Mele faced scrutiny following errors during recent international fixtures.

Vozinha, the Cape Verdean goalkeeper recently signed by Colo Colo, was heavily criticized after a poor decision during a match against Mali. Cape Verde suffered a 3-1 defeat, with one goal attributed to a mistake by Vozinha when attempting to intercept the ball.

Santiago Mele, the Uruguayan goalkeeper who previously declined a move to Colo Colo to join Independiente, also faced criticism during a friendly against Japan. While playing for Uruguay, Mele hesitated during a defensive play, allowing Ayase Ueda to score, resulting in a 3-1 loss for the Celeste.
