Pedro Juan Caballero: Transport businessman killed and pharmacy robbed

In Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, a series of violent crimes has been reported. Patrocinio González Fleitas, the 60-year-old owner of the San Ramón transport company, was killed by gunfire. The attack occurred inside a workshop where he was refueling a bus; the assailant, wearing a helmet and riding a motorcycle, fired two shots at his head at close range. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspect.

In a separate incident in the same city, two armed individuals robbed a branch of Farmacias Americana. The suspects, one of whom posed as a medical student, disarmed a security guard and stole several boxes of tirzepatida, a weight-loss medication. The perpetrators fled on a red motorcycle, presumably toward the Brazilian border.
