Gobernador Gregores officials announce gas billing relief

Authorities in Gobernador Gregores, led by Mayor Carina Bosso, have reached an agreement with Camuzzi Gas del Sur to provide relief to residents facing difficult gas billing situations. The measures follow local concerns regarding irregular billing cycles where two payments were issued within a single month due to tariff adjustments and system updates.

To mitigate economic impact, Camuzzi announced that invoices due on July 24 will not accrue late interest until August 6, while those due on July 27 will have interest-free extensions until August 1. Additionally, the company has committed to a policy of no supply cuts for unpaid bills during the winter period, lasting until the end of September.

Furthermore, the municipality of Gobernador Gregores is working on a joint project with Perito Moreno to present a formal case to ENARGAS regarding the challenges faced by towns relying on bottled gas (GLP) services.
