Gołębiewski Hotel and YouTuber Książulo clash over stay complaints

Polish YouTuber Szymon Nyczke, known as Książulo, posted a critical video about his stay at the newly opened Gołębiewski Hotel in Pobierów. He reported that, despite setting the air‑conditioning to 20 °C, the room temperature rose to 31 °C and the bathtub water turned yellow‑green, prompting him to leave the hotel.

Książulo later claimed to have received a document from a hotel employee stating that he and his companions had been placed on a "black list" covering the hotel chain’s properties, allegedly barring them from future reservations. The hotel denied any such ban; after meeting owner Jarosław Gołębiewski, Książulo was told he could book again, a fact confirmed by reception staff.

The chain issued a statement acknowledging the technical problems, accepted the complaint and refunded the full cost of the stay. Former Polish international footballer Tomasz Hajto entered the dispute, calling Książulo a "gówniarz" and saying, "Ja dożywotnio bym ci zrobił zakaz" (I would give you a lifetime ban). Hajto’s video was later removed, but the exchange sparked wider discussion about transparency and the rules governing influencer collaborations with hospitality businesses.
